Past due process for utility accounts resumes February 1, 2021

On March 13, 2020, the City of Warrenton temporarily suspended late fees, penalties, and water disconnections for non-payment of past due balances in response to the economic uncertainties brought on by the Covid-19 Pandemic.  Beginning on February 1, 2021 the past due process will resume.

In order to avoid penalties and possible disruption of service, the City encourages utility customers to either bring their accounts current by January 31, 2021 or contact our office to inquire about setting up a formal payment plan to address their past due balances.

Please call us for questions or to set up a payment plan at (503)861.2233 prior to January 31, 2021.  Due to the increase in number of past due accounts, it may take more than 24 hours to restore service once disconnected.

Our offices are currently closed for drop-in service.  Payments can be made by mail, online, or at one of our two drop boxes located outside the City Hall Finance entrance and in the back parking lot.
