If the police department has impounded my vehicle, what do I need to do to get it out of impound?

You will need to obtain a signed release form from the department. To obtain a release form you SHOULD BE the "owner" of the vehicle (some exceptions do apply), MUST HAVE a valid driver's license (or a valid driver), will need to provide the current vehicle registration or title, proof of current insurance coverage, and pay an administrative fee. You must arrive at the station prior to 3:30pm to allow staff time to process the release before the 4:00pm closing time. For more information call the department at 503-861-2235.
